Nexxt Generation Game Studios is a fast growing company dedicated to the development of multimedia applications. We intend to offer the community an immense archive of video games and multi-purpose applications that can be applied to a variety of requirements. Based on the new premise of “visually appealing software” we are committed to create jaw dropping applications that aren’t just “eye candy” but also entirely functional software for every kind of commercial necessity.
Our first project, “Evolution”, led us to participate in the Microsoft Imagine Cup Game Development Contest, with little experience we managed to acquire Semi Finalist status.
Our current project, “Virtual Environment”, is an application used to give users the chance to adapt to “real” environments, by simulating real life characteristics in real life buildings and locations.

Virtual Environment

Evolution, Imagine Cup

The Imagine Cup Finalists have been announced; although we didn’t make it to the top 6 (out of 105 teams worldwide) we are very glad that we gave our very best and learned a whole lot in the process. XNA clearly simplified the construction of our game, and assisted us in the foundation of our 3d development knowledge.

The results for the second round of the Imagine Cup have been announced. Out of over 500 teams worldwide, we made it among the few 105 selected! There is still much to complete in Evolution, hopefully we will make it on time.
